I didn’t set out to do this. I set out to survive something.
[Two or three sentences in your own words about what you were carrying when you first found this work. As specific as you are willing to be in public. This is the part I can’t write for you, and it’s the part that makes the rest of this land.]
The quiet was never the point
What I learned in the years since is that the quiet was never the point. I thought it was, at first. I thought the work was about getting to a still place and staying there.
It isn’t. The point was that somebody stayed in the room while it was hard. Someone who was not frightened by what came up, who did not rush me toward the tidy version of it, who did not need me to be better by the end of the hour.
That is what I actually do now. I stay in the room.
Different doors into the same house
I sit with people through the uncomfortable part and I don’t move them out of it early. The tools I use depend on the day and the person, not on a script.
Energy work is one door. Preparation for ceremony is another. Integration afterward is a third. They look different from the outside and they lead to the same place, which is a person able to be present with their own life.
I have watched people come in carrying something they could not name and leave able to name it. Not fixed. Not finished. Able to name it. That is usually the thing that changes everything else.
Fifteen years, still learning
Fifteen years on this path and I still don’t have it figured out. I want to be honest about that, because anyone who tells you they do is selling something.
What has changed is my capacity. I’ve gotten better at being present while someone finds their own way through. I’ve gotten better at sitting with the not knowing. I’ve gotten better at saying no when I’m not the right person for what someone is carrying.
That last one matters more than people expect. Being turned toward the right help is better than being kept.
If you’re wondering whether this is for you
If you’re in a hard season and you’re not sure whether this work is the right next step, that’s exactly what a conversation is for. Thirty minutes, no charge, no obligation to book anything.
You can tell me what’s going on. I’ll tell you honestly whether what I do is a fit. If it isn’t, I’ll say so and point you somewhere better.
